16 Suspected Cases of Bird Flu Isolated in 5 Provinces

Fever hospitals in five provinces have yesterday isolated 16 cases suspected of bird flu.
In Dakahlia, the Mansoura Chest Hospital has isolated Ibrahim Rizq Mohamed, 35, Iman Ahmed Hamed, 20, Zeinab Reda Shehata, 16, Reda Gamal Abdel Salam, 16, Wedad Atef Hassan, 48, and Laila Shaban el-Sayed, 10 months old.
In Sohag, the fever hospital has isolated Hossam el-Sawi, 7, his brothers Ahmed,7, Mohamed, 4, and Mohamed Ashraf.
In Matrouh, the Alexandria Fever Hospital has isolated Awatef Gomaa Mohamed, 57, and Doaa Mohamed Anwar.
In Menoufia, the Chest Hospital has isolated Islam Adel Suleiman, 26, and Ali Mahmoud Ali, 20.
In Qena, the Fever Hospital has isolated Badria Mohamed Hassan, 38.
In Alexandria, 13311 live birds were seized and culled from 42 shops, while 22 shop owners broke their sealed shops and sold their birds. Also 165 home farms and 38 more shops were closed.
