Egypt expresses condolences to Sudan after deadly Darfur landslides

Egypt on Tuesday offered condolences to Sudan after landslides in the Darfur region left hundreds dead, its foreign ministry said on Tuesday.
In a statement, the ministry expressed sympathy to "the Government, leadership, and brotherly people of Sudan" and said Egypt stood in solidarity with its southern neighboUr "in this painful ordeal."
The ministry also extended condolences to the families of the victims.
