Egypt's FM heads to Doha for talks on Israel escalation

Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel-Atty is heading to Doha on Thursday for high-level talks with Qatari officials, Egypt's foreign ministry announced.
The visit comes as Cairo seeks to express its full solidarity with Qatar and coordinate regional efforts to respond to what it described as a "serious escalation" by Israel. The ministry said discussions will focus on aligning positions between the two countries as they work to contain rising tensions.
