In Dakahlia, the Mansoura Chest Hospital isolated twelve cases from Sandoub, Mansoura, Menyet al-Nasr, Belkas and Talkha. Samples were sent to the laboratories of the Ministry of Health for analysis. In Gharbia, the Tanta and Mahala Fever Hospitals isolated eight cases that had high temperature and shortness of breath. In Menya, the Menya Fever Hospital admitted Hossam Seoudi Ahmed, 4, and his sister Dalia, 9 months, from Samalut al-Balad.
Dr. Yousri Mabrouk, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Health in Beheira, said the Damanhour Fever Hospital isolated Hani Mahmoud Mossad Idris, 25, from Delengat, as well as Shahd el-Dessouki Abu Sheffa, 2, Mariam Gamal Ibrahim el-Garhi, 35, and Seada Mansour el-Sheikh, 16. The Damietta Fever Hospital admitted Mohamed Ahmed Kouta, 37, a carpenter from Al-Aasar district, Mariam Mohamed el-Hinnawi, 17, a housewife from Bab al-Haras disrict, and Naguiba Mohamed el-Sayed el-Zeftawi, 60, a housewife from al-Sananeya. The Alexandria Security Directorate continued its campaign against the shops that sell live birds, closing down twenty-one of them that had no license, executing 609 birds and removing 350 domestic bird farms.
