Ismaili president Nasr Aboul-Hassan said that the club decided against completing the transfer of Argentine duo Fernando Marquez and German Weiner. "We have decided against signing them upon the recommendation of the technical staff led by Mohamed Wahba," the Dervishes' chairman told FilGoal.com. "Wahba wasn't convinced with their abilities and asked us not to finalise their deal due to technical reasons." Wahba has been in charge of the team since Dutch coach Mark Wotte backtracked on his verbal agreement to take over Ismaili. Aboul-Hassan earlier announced that Ismaili signed the pair for three years, before club officials said that it was just a provisional contract until the players finish the trial period.
