Ismailia – Yasser El-Sherif: Ismaili boss Theo Buecker said that there must be a stand against unjust refereeing in the Egyptian league, that he said, caused his side's defeat to Ahli and Zamalek even though they were the better side. “Referees Mohamed Reesha and Mohamed Al-Sayed caused the team's defeat to Ahli and Zamalek, even though Ismaili were the better side in both of the matches,” Buecker told FilGoal.com exclusively on Thursday. Ismaili suffered a 2-0 defeat to Ahli in their postponed match from round-13, that took place on Wednesday. “This isn't something new, it happened before I left Ismaili before. I don't know what the referees have against us,” Buecker added. The German caretaker also said that he was shocked that the referees overlooked a correct penalty for them, and awarded unfair penalty-shots to Ahli and Zamalek in both of the matches. Ahli top the Egyptian league standings with a tally of 50 points, five ahead of second-placed Zamalek, while Ismaili hold seventh place with 26 points. Buecker concluded by saying that this low standard of refereeing would hurt the entire game and will cause Egyptian football's deterioration.
