Buecker admitted that he failed to find a suitable replacement for Sherif Abdul-Fadil and Mohamed Gouda, given Ahmed Al-Gamal's failure to recuperate from an injury and Amr Desouki's groin-muscle strain that he picked up during the team's training. The German caretaker revealed that he was planning to depend on the team's younger generation and the first-team players who received their first bookings, despite the fact that they might be automatically suspended from their match against Ahli in case of receiving a second-booking. Buecker also insisted that he will depend mainly on the player's fighting spirit and their will to prove their worth in the match.
