Ismailia – Yasser El-Sherif: Ismaili's board officially protested against referee Mohamed Reesha, who ran their previous local league match against Zamalek , and demanded a rematch with a foreign refereeing staff. The club board held a meeting after Tuesday's match and concluded that the referee committed a series of intended and recurrent mistakes during the match, Ismaili spokesman Abdul-Rahman Annous told FilGoal.com. Annous also added that the club sent the protest to the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) along with a list of the referee's alleged mistakes, topped with Mohamed Soliman 'Homos' red card. The Club spokesman said that Ismaili also asked that Reesha wouldn't run any coming match that they are a side of. Ismaili said that these kinds of mistakes should be limited and controlled so that it doesn't spark tension between fans and said that they wanted a rematch disregarding if Reesha was penalized or not. Zamalek beat Ismaili 2-1 in the Egyptian league round-19 match that took place on Tuesday.
