The Middle East and Africa Interpol branches recommended to increase up mutual information among them during a conference held in Hurghada under the auspices of the Egyptian Interior Minister, Magdi Abd Al Ghaffar, al-Bawaba News reported. The participants discussed topics related to activating the Interpol initiatives regarding the full achievement of security control on borders to prevent terrorist elements' infiltration and reduce the illegal immigration phenomenon. Michael O'Connell, director of operational support and analysis of the organization, stressed on the security and stability which was witnessed during his stay in Egypt, calling for state delegations to follow up the application of conference's recommendations.
