Egypt's Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar hosted Monday his Chadian counterpart Mohamed Bashayer to discuss a number of security issues, Al Bawaba News reported. Bashayer, who conducts currently a formal visit to the country, expressed the Chadian government's appreciation to Egypt for its keenness to support its neighboring African countries. He also thanked Egypt for its continuing efforts to support stability at the regional level in the light of the current security challenges, which have been expanding in the region. Abdel Ghaffar pointed out to the importance of cooperation with African countries at all levels. He also spoke about the ministry's policy and strategy based on security cooperation with all security services of other countries in the region in order to meet the challenges posed by the growing phenomenon of terrorist activities in some neighboring countries.
