Egypt's men's national golf team secured two silver medals at the 43rd Arab Golf Championship in Saudi Arabia, finishing second in both the individual and team events. The team—comprising Issa Aboulela, Adam El Shami, Mohamed Aboulela, and Alaa El-Din Salama—finished behind Morocco, which retained the team title for the third consecutive year. The UAE secured third place. The result marked a successful return to the Arab stage for the Egyptian team, just one year after leaving the previous championship empty-handed. Egypt's standout performer, Issa Aboulela, came within one stroke of winning the individual title, ultimately finishing as runner-up behind Morocco's Youssef El Hali, who took the gold. Aboulela delivered a remarkable performance in the third and final round, carding nine-under-par at Riyadh Golf Club—the best round recorded by any player in the championship. The team was supervised by Ahmed El-Shelqany, a board member of the Egyptian Golf Federation, and guided by the newly appointed head coach, Stuart Clayton. Ahead of the championship, Egypt implemented a strong preparation programme that included multiple domestic and international tournaments, among them three major events hosted in Egypt. The board of the Egyptian Golf Federation, led by Omar Hisham Talaat, congratulated the national team on their achievement and urged them to pursue even greater success in the coming period.
