Egypt's Minister of Interior Magdy Abdul Ghaffar met Monday with Japan's ambassador to Egypt, Takehiro Kagawa to discuss a number of common interest issues in the security field, Al Bawaba News reported. Kagawa said that Japan supports Egypt's efforts to combat terrorism, expressing his country readiness to provide all technical supplies to the Egyptian police. Also, Abdul Ghaffar met with South Korean Ambassador to Egypt, Chung Kwang-Kyun who expressed his country's appreciation to the Egyptian police efforts to restore Egypt's security and stability. Kyun stressed his country's keenness to raise the level of cooperation with Egypt's security services as Egypt and Korea celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the Egyptian Korean diplomatic relations. On his part, Abdul Ghaffar praised the Korean-Egyptian bilateral cooperation especially in the technical fields, hailing the good relations between the two countries' government and people.
