Art D'Egypte, a subsidiary of CulturVator, has officially announced the esteemed lineup of artists for the highly anticipated fifth edition of Forever Is Now. This international contemporary art exhibition is set to grace the iconic landscape of the Pyramids of Giza from 11th November to 6th December 2025, continuing its journey as a pivotal global cultural event. This year's exhibition proudly showcases the works of ten leading international artists, transforming the historic site into a breathtaking outdoor gallery. The participating artists include Michelangelo Pistoletto from Italy, Nobel Peace Prize nominee Alexander Farto, known as Vhils, from Portugal, and the dynamic Recycle Group from France and Russia. They are joined by Ana Ferrari from Brazil, Mert Ege from Türkiye, and Egypt's own Saleha El-Masry. Further enriching the diverse roster are Nadim Karam from Lebanon, King Houndekpinkou from Benin and France, and Ji Park from South Korea. In addition to unveiling the impressive artist roster, Nadine Abdel Ghaffar, founder of Art D'Egypte under CulturVator, revealed two significant parallel projects. The first is the Cairo International Art District (CIAD), which returns for its fifth edition in Downtown Cairo, running from 12th October to 16th November 2025. This programme will feature five exhibitions across the historic Shourbagy Building and Kodak Passage, presenting works by more than 70 local and international artists. A notable introduction to CIAD this year is the inaugural Guest Country of Honour, with South Korea taking centre stage. Represented by the Korea Foundation for International Cultural Exchange (KOFICE), a cultural arm of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Korea, the programme will present works by six contemporary Korean artists. This collaboration marks a significant milestone, celebrating 30 years of cultural diplomacy between Egypt and South Korea and fostering cross-cultural exchange. The second parallel exhibition, Art Décoratifs, will be held at the revered Egyptian Museum in Tahrir from 14th to 24th November 2025. This exhibition will feature works by more than 15 international and Egyptian artists and designers, celebrating the integral role of design within Egypt's rich cultural tapestry. Zahi Hawass Abdel Ghaffar underscored that this edition of Forever Is Now is held under the esteemed auspices of the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Egyptian Tourism Promotion Authority, and UNESCO. The press conference featured insightful comments from key figures. Renowned Egyptologist Zahi Hawass shared his profound connection to the site: "I am delighted to be here. For me, the Pyramid is not just an ancient monument—it is part of my life. It constantly inspires me, especially when I see cultural and artistic events organised around it. Nadine's idea was both innovative and brilliant, bringing together artists from around the world—sculptors, architects, and creatives—to showcase their work beside this historic wonder. I told Nadine that every artist who comes here will feel the sheer magnificence of the Pyramids, standing in awe of this timeless miracle. The Pyramid is not just a structure; it is an eternal symbol of human ingenuity, creativity, and greatness." Hussein Fahmy Waleed Qanoush, Head of the Fine Arts Sector at the Ministry of Culture, expressed his enthusiasm for the exhibition's continued impact: "I am thrilled about the announcement of this year's edition of Forever Is Now, which has become an integral part of our cultural calendar. For three years, the Ministry of Culture has supported this exhibition not only for its immense artistic significance but also for its role in achieving one of our core objectives: strengthening public engagement with cultural events." Celebrated actor Hussein Fahmy also conveyed his delight: "I am very happy to be here with you today and to see Nadine's efforts. I have known Nadine since she was very young and have always admired her dedication and ideas. I am delighted that she is organising this exhibition. I am also pleased to announce that there will be a partnership this year between Art D'Egypte and the Cairo International Film Festival, as the dates are very close. Art is a beautiful thing, and Egypt is incredibly rich with history." Ahmed Ghoneim, Director General of the Grand Egyptian Museum, offered a tribute to Nadine Abdel Ghaffar's vision: "I had the honour of meeting Nadine when I visited Forever Is Now previously, and I must say, what she does combines four essential elements. First, her immense passion. Second, her persistence—anyone who knows Nadine knows she never stops working. Third, her boundless creativity. And fourth, she has strong networks both locally and internationally. These are the qualities that make Nadine's projects stand out—always fresh, innovative, and unique." Amr Gazzarin, Chairman of Orascom Pyramids Entertainment, concluded the conference by highlighting the evolution of the visitor experience: "I am very pleased to be here today. This edition holds special significance for us as it comes after the major transformation of the Pyramids experience. What was once an unorganised, sometimes problematic visit has now become a world-class cultural experience. I invite everyone to visit the Pyramids and witness this remarkable transformation." The fifth edition of Forever Is Now promises to be an exceptional cultural event at the foot of the great Pyramids, where heritage and history meet contemporary art in a truly unique dialogue.
