CAIRO: Al-Jazeera says Egyptian security forces have stormed the media organization's offices in Cairo. Al-Jazeera International's Cairo producer, Adam Makary, said via Twitter, “Security forces have stormed in the AJ Mubashir Masr office.” Youm7 has not yet independently confirmed the news. Al-Jazeera English correspondent Sherine Tadros said via Twitter, “Security forces still in AJA Mubashr Misr building but haven't confiscated equipment yet.” She added, “Feels like the old days.” Around 1:45pm, Makary tweeted, “We're leaving the building.” He later added, “Everyone ok.” Makary told Youm7 via Twitter that he was referring only to Al-Jazeera English and that Al-Jazeera Arabic and Mubasher Misr are in talks.
