Ahmed Hassan is concerned about his unclear future with Zamalek as he insists on leaving the Cairo club this summer. The midfield veteran announced his intention to leave the Whites but still awaits the board's approval to rescind his contract. “Zamalek baffle me really. Some club officials agreed to let me go while others refuse," Hassan told FilGoal.com. “I have no idea about my status till now. They must make a decision because I have already made mine and said I want to leave. “I need to be settled quickly as the transfer window closes by the end of the month and I have to consider my future." Hassan, who will miss Zamalek next two Champions League games through suspension, revealed earlier this month that he would join Belgian side Lierse after leaving Cairo. The Egypt captain has been with Zamalek since last summer when he signed on a free transfer from city rivals Ahli.
