EGP inches down vs. USD at Sunday's trading close

The Egyptian pound (EGP) saw a minor decline against the US dollar (USD) on Sunday, August 17, 2025, according to data from the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
The CBE quoted the average buying rate at EGP48.2626 and the selling rate at EGP48.3626, compared with Thursday's rates of EGP48.2554 for buying and EGP48.3554 for selling.
