Egyptian pound closes high vs USD on Sunday

The Egyptian pound (EGP) strengthened against the US dollar (USD) on Sunday, August 3, 2025, according to data from the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
The CBE quoted the average buying rate at EGP 48.5929 and the selling rate at EGP 48.6929, compared with Thursday's rates of EGP 48.6244 for buying and EGP 48.7244 for selling.
