Egyptian pound edges up vs USD at Monday's close – CBE

The Egyptian pound (EGP) strengthened notably against the US dollar (USD) on Monday, July 21, 2025, according to data from the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
The CBE quoted the average buying rate at EGP 49.1926 and the selling rate at EGP 49.2926, compared with Sunday's rates of EGP 49.3074 for buying and EGP 49.4063 for selling.
