Egyptian pound closes high vs. US dollar on Wednesday

The Egyptian pound (EGP) posted a notable gain against the US dollar (USD) on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, according to data from the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
The CBE quoted the average buying rate at EGP 49.5574 and the selling rate at EGP 49.6574, compared with Tuesday's rates of EGP 49.6338 for buying and EGP 49.7335 for selling.
