EGP edges down vs USD on Thursday

The Egyptian pound (EGP) edged down against the US dollar (USD) on Thursday, May 22, 2025, according to data from the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
The CBE reported an average buying rate of EGP49.8506 per dollar and a selling rate of EGP49.9505, compared to Wednesday's rates of EGP49.8063 and EGP49.9063 per dollar, for buying and selling respectively.
