Egyptian pound strengthens against US dollar on Tuesday

The Egyptian pound (EGP) edged higher against the US dollar (USD) on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, according to data from the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
The CBE reported an average buying rate of EGP 50.9837 per dollar and a selling rate of EGP 51.0837, marking an appreciation from the April 17 rates of EGP 51.0681 and EGP 51.1681, respectively.
