EGP edges lower vs. US dollar at Thursday's close

The Egyptian pound (EGP) saw a minor decline against the US dollar (USD) on Thursday, April 17, 2025, according to data from the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
The CBE reported an average buying rate of EGP 51.0681 per dollar and a selling rate of EGP 51.1681, compared to Wednesday's rates of EGP 51.0503 and EGP 51.1503, respectively.
