Egypt's New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) signed a land allocation agreement on Thursday with the Social Housing and Mortgage Finance Fund (SHMFF) to develop an integrated urban project in the Sixth Settlement of New Cairo. NUCA's Ahmed Ali said the allocation follows directives from Minister of Housing Sherif El-Sherbiny to accelerate development projects and strengthen coordination between state entities to deliver well-planned communities with full services. SHMFF CEO Mai Abdel Hamid described the project as a significant addition to the fund's portfolio, supporting the government's push for comprehensive urban development and high-quality housing and services for citizens. The project continues the ongoing partnership between the SHMFF and the NUCA, aimed at fostering sustainable urban growth in New Cairo and other "fourth-generation" cities. The authority reaffirmed its commitment to providing a supportive environment for investment and service projects, in line with Egypt's Vision 2030 and broader development goals.
