Egypt's Housing Min. directs logistical support for Senate elections

Egypt's Minister of Housing Sherif El-Sherbiny has issued directives to heads of new city councils to provide full logistical support for the upcoming Senate elections, the ministry announced in a statement on Saturday.
The elections are scheduled to take place on Monday and Tuesday, 4–5 August.
El-Sherbiny instructed the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) to provide full support for the electoral process, including facilitating the work of judicial bodies and supporting entities to ensure easy and effective citizen participation.
