Egyptian pound closes high vs. USD on Sunday – CBE

The Egyptian pound (EGP) strengthened against the US dollar (USD) on Sunday, August 24, 2025, according to data from the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
The CBE quoted the average buying rate at EGP 48.3546 and the selling rate at EGP 48.4546, compared with Thursday's rates of EGP 48.4509 for buying and EGP 48.5509 for selling.
