Egyptian pound closes high against US dollar on Sunday

The Egyptian pound (EGP) appreciated against the US dollar (USD) on Sunday, August 10, 2025, according to data from the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
The CBE quoted the average buying rate at EGP 48.4523 and the selling rate at EGP 48.5504, compared with Thursday's rates of EGP 48.5062 for buying and EGP 48.6062 for selling.
