Egyptian pound edges higher vs US dollar at Tuesday's close

The Egyptian pound (EGP) appreciated against the US dollar (USD) on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, according to data from the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
The CBE quoted the average buying rate at EGP 48.3774 and the selling rate at EGP 48.4774, compared with Monday's rates of EGP 48.3953 for buying and EGP 48.4953 for selling.
