Egyptian pound ticks up vs. US dollar at Thursday's close

The Egyptian pound (EGP) saw a minor rise against the US dollar (USD) on Thursday, August 14, 2025, according to data from the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
The CBE quoted the average buying rate at EGP 48.2554 and the selling rate at EGP 48.3554, compared with Monday's rates of EGP 48.2751 for buying and EGP 48.3746 for selling.
