EGP rises against US dollar at Thursday's close – CBE

The Egyptian pound (EGP) appreciated against the US dollar (USD) on Thursday, August 21, 2025, according to data from the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
The CBE quoted the average buying rate at EGP 48.4509 and the selling rate at EGP 48.5509, compared with Wednesday's rates of EGP 48.5574 for buying and EGP 48.6574 for selling.
