Egypt could gain more advantage if they played their World Cup playoff home game outside the country, according to assistant coach Diaa Al-Sayed. As the Pharaohs prepare for the decisive final phase of the qualifiers, concerns have been raised that they could be forced to play away from home for security reasons. Surprisingly, the Egypt management seems to be more comfrotable with the notion, rather than hoping for an unlikely option. "Let's not hope that the playoff home game will be played in Egypt, because it won't," Bob Bradley's assistant Al-Sayed told Al-Hayat TV. "We do not want to put pressure on authorities, get the green light to play in Egypt and then be forced to change the venue three days before the game. "I think playing in Egypt will not be much of an advantage for us. For the good of the country, we should play outside. "We will be forced to play at a certain venue, behind closed doors and without several other technical facilities." Egypt have yet to know the identity of their playoff opponents as they host Guinea in the final group game on Tuesday.
