CAIRO – A group of Facebook youth called on Thursday for launching a one-million man rally to coincide with the next session, on August 15, in the trial of Hosni Mubarak, outside the Police Academy in New Cairo, where the trial is being held, Al-Youm Al-Sabe website reports. The trial, which also features Mubarak's sons, Alaa and Gamal, and fugitive tycoon Hussein Salem, opened on August 3 and was adjourned to August 15. Mubarak has been charged with giving orders to kill protesters in Tahrir Square during the January 25 revolution, leaving more than 800 people dead. The youth said that Mubarak deserves the death penalty, because of the many crimes he has committed. They urged Egyptians to participate in this march, similar to the demonstrations which toppled Mubarak on February 11. The youth said that this rally will be a message to supporters of the ex-president, who have formed a group called ‘Mubarak's Sons' and a Facebook page entitled ‘Sorry, president'.
