CAIRO – The second session of Habib el-Adli's trial, Egypt's ex-interior minister, and his six deputies are being tried on Thursday, the local media reported. El-Adli and his deputies are facing charges of giving orders to kill protesters in Tahrir Square in the January 25 revolution. Egyptian ousted president Hosni Mubarak, his two sons and fugitive Hussein Salem have been tried on Wednesday in the same case, which was adjourned on August 15. Mubarak attended the first session of the trial on Wednesday lying on a stretcher as he suffers from heart problems. El-Adli had been sentenced for 12 years in a graft problem.
