Egyptian pound gains slightly against dollar in early Wednesday trade

The Egyptian pound inched up slightly against the US dollar in early trading on Wednesday, according to official exchange rate data from major banks.
As of 11:24 a.m. Cairo time (09:24 GMT), the pound was quoted at:
