CAIRO – The ousted president Mohamed Hosni Mubarak, his two sons, his ex-interior minister Habib el-Adli and six of his aides are being tried on Wednesday, the official Middle East News Agency reported. The trial, which is being held in the Police Academy in New Cairo, is being aired live now on the State TV. People were reported to be amazed the moment Mubarak was allowed into the dock. "I can't believe my eyes, I am trying to imagine what is going on in Egypt," Mohamed Ali, 33, told The Egyptian Gazette on line. "We need justice, we need our rights," he added. Mubarak and and the other defendants are facing charges of giving orders to kill protesters in Tahrir Square during the peaceful revolution last January. More than 8,00 were killed while over one thousand were injured during the revolt.
