Following the dismissal of former president Hosni Mubarak from the "Trial of the Century", further death sentences are expected for the Muslim Brotherhood standing in front of court, according to Muslim Brotherhood spokesperson Wafaa Hefni. Hefni said that had ousted president Mohamed Morsi been in power, the ruling would have been different. Hefni said that there was convicting evidence on the case when Morsi was president, and that President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi was "paid" to get Mubarak out of prison. Hefni expects death sentences for all Muslim Brotherhood leaders on trial after Saturday's ruling. The court acquitted Mubarak on graft charges relating to the sale of natural gas to Israel, but said it was "inadmissible" for the court to rule on the murder charges. Former interior minister Habib Al-Adly and five of his aides, and fugitive businessman Hussein Salem were acquitted on all charges. "The fascist putschists may continue to summon Mubarak's gang back to life but this will not change the reality on the ground," said Abdullah El-Haddad from the London Muslim Brotherhood press office. "The next trial for Mubarak and his corrupt cronies will be a revolutionary one. Justice will prevail and the revolution will have its say," said El-Haddad. Hefni agrees that another revolution is inevitable. "[Al-Sisi's] character is his doom. Supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood are increasing. The more injustice, the more the truth becomes clear." Al-Sisi may be winning the police and the military, but he is losing the support of the people, said Hefni. "There are daily/weekly protests all over Egypt. Protesters are defiant, determined and they welcome anyone who wants to join," El-Haddad added. Among those who received preliminary death sentences in June were Muslim Brotherhood Supreme Guide Mohamed Badie, senior Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) member Mohamed Al-Beltagy, FJP deputy chairman Essam Al-Erian, Al-Jamaa Al-Islamiya member Assem Abdel Maged, conservative preacher Safwat Hegazy, and former Minister of Supply Bassem Ouda.
