URGENT: Egypt appoints Islam Azzam as EGX chairman for one year

Egypt's Prime Minister issued Decree No. 2812 of 2025 appointing Islam Azzam as chairman of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) for a one-year term. The decision was published in the Official Gazette on Monday.
Under the decree, Mohamed Sabry was named as vice chairman of the EGX.
