Egypt vehemently condemned a terrorist attack that targeted a religious school in Peshawar, in northwestern Pakistan, leaving at least eight people killed and scores others injured early Tuesday. In a press statement, the Foreign Ministry extended its deepest condolences to the families of the victims and wished speedy recovery for the injured, asserting that the Egyptian people and government stand by Pakistan in its fight against terrorism. It renewed Egypt's rejection of all forms of terror, violence and extremism and solidarity with Pakistan during this painful and sorrowful time.
