Zamalek drop foreign trio

The future of Zamalek's non-Egyptian players is on the rocks after the trio was left out of the team's squad for the friendly Matchworld Cup in Abu Dhabi.
The Whites flied to the UAE without Abdoulaye Cisse, Razak Omotoyossi and Alexis Mendomo as the three players have been inconsistent in attending training of late.
Burkina Faso striker Cisse has been poised to move out on loan but his transfer to Al-Fujairah has yet to materialize, while Benin's Omotoyossi is still at loggerheads with the board over late wages.
Midfielder Mendomo was declared ‘unfit' by the club's website as the Whites are set to name their CAF Champions League squad for next season.
Zamalek have been struggling for nearly two years now with squad problems, mainly related to unpaid wages.
The Cairo side play two friendlies in the UAE this week against Zenit St. Petersburg and Shakhtar Donetsk.
