Asia stocks mixed post US-China talks

Asia-Pacific markets had a mixed trading day on Wednesday following the conclusion of the US-China talks in Sweden, which did not result in an extension of the tariff truce that was in place in the US on Tuesday.
Japan's Nikkei 225 closed unchanged at 40,654.70, while the Topix rose by 0.4 per cent to finish at 2,920.18.
Australia's S&P/ASX 200 ended the day 0.6 per cent higher at 8,756.40. The CSI 300 in mainland China closed flat at 4,151.24. South Korea's Kospi increased by 0.74 per cent to close at 3,254.47.
