Asia-Pacific markets mostly fell after President Trump announced a preliminary trade deal with Indonesia, including a 19 per cent tariff on Indonesian exports to the US. South Korea's Kospi dropped by 0.9 per cent to finish the trading day at 3,186.38, while the small-cap Kosdaq remained unchanged at 812.23. Australia's S&P/ASX 200 fell by 0.79 per cent to end at 8,561.8. Japan's Nikkei 225 closed at 39,663.4, and the Topix decreased by 0.21 per cent to 2,819.4.
