Zamalek to play in Matchworld Cup

Zamalek will face Zenit St. Petersburg and Shakhtar Donetsk in the friendly Matchworld Cup this month.
The tournament, held in the UAE, announced on its website that the Whites will complete a four-club league, along with Saudi giants Hilal.
Zamalek should face Ukraine's Shakhtar, who qualified for the UEFA Champions League last 16, on January 16 before taking on Russian giants Zenit three days later.
Zenit, who were eliminated from the Champions League this season, are the defending champions of the annual Matchworld Cup.
The tournament is considered a final rehearsal for Zamalek ahead of next month's Egyptian Premier League kickoff as announced by the FA.
