Egypt number one Essam Al-Hadari committed a horrendous error that led to a comical goal in Merreikh's 2-1 Confederation Cup defeat at Leopards of Congo. With the score tied at 1-1 after Merreikh's Kelechi Osunwa had cancelled out Cesaire Gandze, Al-Hadari was trying to waste some seconds right in front of a Leopards attacker. But the striker was too quick to bundle the ball in from between the hands of the veteran keeper, who then ran at the referee to call for a foul. To add to his embarrassing evening, Al-Hadari was booked for dissent and will now miss the return leg in Khartoum; a blow that could prove even more costly for Merreikh. Al-Hadari's error Match goals
