Brazil's first-choice goalkeeper Rafael Cabral pulled out of the Olympic team squad due to an elbow injury, the Brazilian football confederation (CBF) reported. The Santos guardian sustained the injury during training on Monday as scans revealed that he would not be fit in time to take part in the London Games. Uncapped Fiorentina goalkeeper Neto will replace Cabral in the first team, while 19-year-old Gabrial, from AC Milan, will be the substitute. Brazil kick off against Egypt in Group C on Thursday.
