Japan's c. bank holds key interest rate

The Bank of Japan (BOJ) maintained its benchmark interest rate, keeping the uncollateralised overnight call rate at around 0.5 per cent, as per its statement published on Thursday.
The decision came during its Monetary Policy Meeting, where the Policy Board voted unanimously to uphold the current money market operations guideline for the intermeeting period.
