Mohamed Abdul-Shafi is back in Zamalek training after going AWOL during a Monday match practice and is set to be fined by the club despite mentioning family issues as an excuse. The Egypt international's unexpected absence caused major anxiety at Zamalek on Monday, with staff members failing to reach him all day. “Abdul-Shafi came on Tuesday saying he had family issues, but he will be fined for missing Monday's practice match without permission,” assistant coach Osama Nabih told FilGoal.com. Meanwhile, Zamalek said on their website that Benin striker Razak Omotoyossi also failed to show up for Tuesday's training session without permission. Omotoyossi is on a four-match ban from continental football, following the red card he received right after the 2-1 defeat at Africa Sports last month.
