Zamalek hitman Razak Omotoyossi could miss his side's league game against Arab Contractors due to a knee injury as the Whites resume domestic competition on Wednesday. The Benin international has not been training regularly this week due to a niggling knee complaint and was accordingly sidelined by the team's management to avoid injury aggravation. “Razak felt some pains in his knee and is set to undergo a medical on Monday to determine the extent of his injury and whether he would be able to play against Contractors.” Zamalek doctor Ayman Farid told FilGoal.com. The former Syrianska striker has scored four goals in as many friendly games for the Five-time-African champions during the league break but is yet to claim his maiden competitive goal. Meanwhile, right-back Ahmed Samir and midfielder Ahmed Al-Merghani returned to full-training after recovering from respective injuries, while Mohamed Abdul-Shafi and youngster Mohamed Ibrahim are confirmed out of the Contractors game. Abdul-Shafi, one of Zamalek's most consistent performers during the past two seasons, has been struggling with a hamstring injury, while 19-year-old Ibrahim has a groin tear that ruled him out of Egypt's U-23 Championship in Morocco.
