Zamalek new signing Razak Omotoyossi will not be making his debut against Ghazl Mahalla in Wednesday's league opener due to a contractual dispute with the club. The Benin forward was absent from training on Monday as he has yet to receive a signing on fee of $175,000 from the financially-struggling Zamalek. The Cairo club offered to pay the sum on installments, but the option did not appeal for the 25-year-old. “Razak is out of our plans for the Mahalla game and even if he trained on Tuesday, he will not be included in the squad,” Zamalek assistant coach Ismail Youssef told FilGoal.com. “This is because he was absent without permission and will accordingly be sanctioned. “The problem is because of his agents. He was ready to accept our offer and get his fees on two installments, but his agents persuaded him to change his mind.”
“When I met with him, it seemed that he loves Zamalek as if he is one of the home-grown players, but his agents are trying to put pressure on us.” Mido in While Omotoyossi will have to wait another day for his debut, another high-profile name is set for his return as Mido has finally been declared fit to feature. “I think Mido has become fit to feature in our plans. He will be travelling with the team to Ismailia,” Youssef added. Mido, who re-joined Zamalek in January, has yet to make his returning debut for the Whites due to a registration error followed by fitness problems related to his weight.
