Ahli to register Geddo in Champions League squad
Published in FilGoal on 12 - 07 - 2010

Ahli are set to include the names of new signings Geddo and Hossam Ghaly in their CAF Champions League roster.
As expected, Egypt forward Geddo will be registered even though he is involved in a contractual dispute with Zamalek.
Geddo's Egypt colleague Ghaly is also eligible for registration after joining the Reds on a free transfer from Nassr last week.
"Geddo and Ghaly will be named in our African roster ahead the match with Heartland (on July 18th)," Ahli director Hadi Khashaba told FilGoal.com.
"The transfer license of Ghaly has arrived and we decided to add him to the list immediately.
"There will be a football committee meeting on Tuesday and we should come to a decision regarding our final selection."
Geddo's registration is likely to make things more difficult for Zamalek, who recently filed a complaint to the FA, claiming their right in the services of the former Ittihad hitman.
Meanwhile, Ahli's summer signing Mahmoud Aboul-Saoud is also tipped to make the African squad, while Abdul-Hamid Shabana and Amir Sayoud, who finished a loan spell at Arabi of Kuwait, both have an outside chance.
