Ismaili keeper Essam Al-Hadari assured that he's fully committed to the coastal club, saying that his statements about his desire to return to Ahli was misinterpreted. The former Ahli goalie said on Thursday that he's keen on returning to the Cairo club, even for free. Consequently, Al-Hadari incurred the wrath of Ismaili's officials who decided to suspended him from the Dervishes' upcoming match against the Red Devils. But the 37-year-old was quick ease the tension. "I was misunderstood when I said I wanted to play for Ahli again," he told FilGoal.com. "I would like to stress that I will keep doing my best with Ismaili. "My statements were never meant to be offensive. I'm fully committed to Ismaili." Al-Hadari, who is widely considered as the best keeper in the Egypt's history, was landed at Ismaili in the close season after ending a 17-month spell with Swiss team Sion. He relatively managed to maintain his assured displays between the sticks this season, but expressed his concerns over Ismaili's unconvincing start to the season. Later on he was linked with several other clubs, including Sudanese side Al-Merreikh. Al-Hadari was initially handed a four-month ban and a 900,000 euro fine for breaching his contract with Ahli in February 2008 to move to Sion, few days after helping Egypt win a record-extending sixth CAN title. The sanction was later frozen by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) upon his appeal. A final verdict is yet to be returned. The Egypt ace said more than once that he would like to rejoin Ahli but the the Egyptian champions remain determined not to bring him back for his acrimonious exit.
