Cairo duo Ahli and Zamalek have renewed their interest in Nigerian striker Godwin Ndubuisi, Sudanese reports claimed on Thursday. Both sides have tried to sign Godwin last January but they couldn't match Hilal's asking price. The player then joined UAE club Al-Nasr on a six-month loan deal. Sudanese paper Goan revealed that an Ahli representative has flown to UAE to discuss personal terms with the 24-year-old frontman. Once they get Godwin's approval, Ahli will contact Hilal to table an official bid for the player's services. The Red Devils' Portuguese coach Manuel Jose has reportedly demanded the club to step up their efforts to lure Godwin to Cairo. Ahli's arch-rivals Zamalek are also in the frame. They had a preliminary offer turned down by Hilal, according to Goan. Godwin said he is yet to be officially contacted by any party, but revealed that his future will be probably clarified following Al-Nasr's last league game on May 25th.
